The Cyprus Basketball Federation (CBF), the highest authority of the sport in Cyprus, is pleased to announce its 2024 Annual Awards Ceremony, which will take place on September 30 at the Royal Hall in Nicosia.

This year’s ceremony stands out due to the introduction of a prestigious new award: the ECOMMBX Legends Award. This honor will be given to two veteran basketball players, one male and one female, who have left an indelible mark on Cypriot basketball. The creation of the ECOMMBX Legends Award is the result of a strategic partnership between the CBF and ECOMMBX, reflecting a shared commitment to recognizing the legends who have significantly contributed to the history of Cypriot basketball.

What makes the ECOMMBX Legends Award particularly unique is the active involvement of fans in the selection process. For the first time, basketball enthusiasts will have the chance to nominate and vote for their favorite veteran basketball players, both male and female, through a specially designed platform available via the following link: https://forms.gle/LNxFqXNFkZ2FCsB56.

The CBF invites all basketball fans, and the general public, to actively participate in the voting process and support the athletes who left a lasting impact on the courts of Cyprus. The voting will conclude on September 12.

The male and female basketball players with the most votes will be honored with the ECOMMBX Legends Award during the ceremony.
