XeniArtSpace Gallery Opens in Limassol Showcasing International and Cypriot Art
A Museum-Quality Art Gallery Featuring Renowned Global and Local Artists
A new gallery, XeniArtSpace Gallery, was inaugurated in Limassol. Located in the west tower of Trilogy Limassol, this museum-quality gallery showcases works by internationally acclaimed artists spanning the 20th century to the present, including several being exhibited in Cyprus for the first time.
Founded by Xenia Kulbachevskaya, a seasoned art collector, XeniArtSpace Gallery was specifically designed to feature pieces from globally renowned artists such as Marc Chagall, Kees van Dongen, Ólafur Elísson, Studio Drift, Tadashi Kawamata, Chun Kwang Young, and many more. The gallery also highlights works from the Cypriot art scene.
Welcoming attendees at the inauguration, Kulbachevskaya emphasized that galleries are more than just spaces for acquiring art; they are places where each piece has the potential to transport visitors into a unique world of emotions. She further noted that the gallery's mission is to promote positivity, foster high aesthetics, and encourage creative development. “I hope this gallery becomes a place where collectors, artists, and all art enthusiasts find joy and inspiration,” she added.
The gallery’s permanent collection includes works from the 20th and 21st centuries, all centered around the theme of the spiraling evolution of art and the dialogue among artists exploring similar subjects and forms of expression.
Additionally, XeniArtSpace Gallery underscores the role of women in art and celebrates the contribution of Cypriot artists to the international art dialogue.
On the upper floor, the gallery’s temporary collection currently features the works of distinguished artist and photographer Vadim Levin, who recently relocated to Cyprus. This exhibition explores the intersection of photography with abstract expressionism, offering visitors a unique artistic experience.
