The Cyprus Youth Organization and IDEP Lifelong Learning are co-organizing for the 9th consecutive year the Up To YOU(th) Festival, which will take place on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at Acropolis Park in Nicosia, starting at 17:00. This major celebration of youth creativity, innovation, volunteerism, and inclusion aims to give young people in Cyprus a platform to express themselves, create, participate, and be inspired.

Up To YOU(th) is not just a festival—it’s a statement. It highlights the energy, imagination, concerns, and voices of young people. Its goal is to empower and encourage those who wish to envision and contribute to a brighter tomorrow.

At the same time, it promotes the values of social participation, diversity, and empathy through a rich and inclusive program of activities and experiences for all ages.

This year’s edition places even greater emphasis on inclusion, with facilities and services ensuring equal participation for everyone. These include wheelchair ramps, signage for people with visual impairments, and sign language interpreters both on site and on the main stage.

Music and Entertainment

Popular youth bands and school groups will perform on the main stage, setting the perfect rhythm for a vibrant and festive atmosphere.

Human Talks

Real-life stories from individuals with diverse experiences, encouraging dialogue, understanding, and acceptance through the lens of diversity.

Tech Fair

A dedicated technology and innovation zone featuring VR applications, robotics battles, 3D printing, and presentations from Youth Makerspace and the ONEK STEAMers, along with participation from academic and tech organizations.

Pop Culture Fair

In collaboration with GeekMania, this section brings together cosplay, comics, board games, and other elements of geek culture.

Science and Astronomy

Impressive experiments by Sci-Co Cyprus and stargazing sessions with telescopes provided by the Cyprus Astronomy Organization.

Cave Screenings

Film screenings inside the park’s caves under the theme “The First Films”, with the presence of Cypriot directors. Organized in collaboration with GeekOtopos Collaborative Hive and STYX Film Encounters.

Youth Hunt

An interactive treasure hunt with riddles and prizes for those who love adventure and exploration.

Eco-Sports

Where fun meets sustainability! Creative games and sports activities built from repurposed materials will showcase teamwork, cooperation, and innovation, proving how everyday items can be transformed into playful, eco-friendly experiences.

Activities for Children

The Children’s Corner will host activities including clown performances, painting, dance, storytelling, and Karagiozis shadow theater.

Exploration and Experiential Activities

The Cyprus Guides and Scouts will lead activities such as compass-making, Morse code writing, and scouting games.

Simba Animal Aid

The Simba shelter will be present with puppies available for adoption and offering advice on animal care.

NGO Fair

Over 70 NGOs and organized groups will take part, in collaboration with the NGO Support Centre and the Cyprus Youth Council, promoting networking and active participation.

ONEK Booth

Visitors will have the opportunity to learn about the Cyprus Youth Organization’s programs and funding opportunities, along with a mobile phone charging station.
