University of Cyprus Collaborates with Quadprime to Enhance Cybersecurity Education

In a move aiming to boost cybersecurity and data protection knowledge, University of Cyprus has entered into a partnership with Quadprime, a member of the MAP S.Platis Group. The collaboration agreement was signed on Monday, September 11, 2023.

Through this partnership, students from the university's Department of Computer Science will have the opportunity to deepen their understanding and gain practical experience related to cybersecurity and related business operations.

Key features of the collaboration include:

  • Practical training for students.

  • Joint participation in mutually beneficial student projects for both B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees.

  • Engagement in joint research activities.

  • Involvement in knowledge transfer and dissemination activities, including lectures and presentations.

  • Sponsorship of initiatives promoting cybersecurity and data protection.

Commenting on the benefits of the collaboration, Quadprime CEO, Mr. Pantelis Angelidis, emphasized University of Cyprus' contributions to the technology sector.
