Mediterranean Hospitality Venture PLC (MHV) announced today the appointment of Mr. Achilleas Dorotheou as its new Chief Executive Officer.

Mr. Dorotheou, as stated in the company's announcement, is among the leading figures in the hotel industry in the broader Greek region, with a professional journey spanning over 30 years across Cyprus, Greece, Switzerland, and Germany.

He has previously served as CEO, Executive Member of the Board of Directors, and General Manager in various hotel units and groups, such as Ikos Resorts, Costa Navarino, and Amathus Hotels.

He is a graduate of the Hotel Institute Montreux and holds an MSc in Hospitality Management from the University of Birmingham and an MBA from the IMD Business School of the University of Lausanne.

Mr. Dorotheou, who has been a member of the MHV Board of Directors since 2022, is expected to enhance the company's and its shareholders' goal of becoming the leading high-standard hospitality company in Southern Europe.
