This initiative is poised to involve five Ministries, underscoring its wide-reaching implications.

The President's remarks were made at an event held at the University of Nicosia's Loft restaurant. Themed "Gastronomic Journey: Tastes of Life," the event's proceeds were dedicated to the Karaiskakio Foundation, supporting the Children's Cancer Center.

"Our strategy, which we will unveil in May, aims to further enhance our tertiary education," the President stated, alluding to the exciting prospects that the plan is set to bring to the forefront. He emphasized that the strategy would encompass various issues previously raised by universities to the President.

President Christodoulides pointed out that the Ministries of Education, Labour, Interior, Finance, and Foreign Affairs are all integral to this strategy. Prior to its public release, consultations with universities will be conducted to refine and strengthen the plan.

Expressing pride in the University of Nicosia's achievements, President Christodoulides referred to it as a "Centre of Excellence" in Cyprus, deserving of continuous support. Additionally, he commended the Karaiskakio Foundation for its impactful work. Drawing from his experiences as Foreign Minister, he shared how the Foundation's efforts have been a source of national pride, particularly in interactions with countries in the region.
