Exporters have until May 31 to submit their applications for the Cyprus Export Award 2024. The Ministry of Energy, Commerce, and Industry announced that exporters of industrial and agricultural products and services are eligible to apply, provided they meet the specified criteria.
Interested parties can obtain the regulations, criteria for the Cyprus Export Award, and application forms from the Ministry of Energy, Commerce, and Industry, the Trade Service website, and the Services and Digitization Department of CCCI.
The announcement states that a maximum of two awards will be given for industrial products, ideally in different sectors where possible, based on the absolute discretion of the Committee. Additionally, there will be one award for agricultural products and a Special Award for industrial products.
Furthermore, five awards will be granted in the services category. These will cover businesses in the Financial Services sector, Maritime Transport and Commercial Shipping, Tourist Services, Telecommunications, Information and Informatics, and a General Service Award for businesses in other sectors, such as Universities and Health.
The Cyprus Export Award, co-organized by the Ministry of Energy, Commerce, and Industry and CCCI, was initiated in 1982 to recognize and reward exceptional efforts in increasing the exports of Cypriot industrial and agricultural products and services.
Over its 42-year history, the award has recognized numerous businesses across the spectrum of export trade, which have greatly benefited from using the award for promotional purposes, especially abroad, the announcement concludes.
