German Energy Sector Delegation to Visit Cyprus in July

The Eight German Companies Will Meet with Cypriot Companies, Agencies, and Organizations to Explore Potential Collaborations

A business mission involving eight German energy companies will take place in Cyprus from July 1 to 4, initiated by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK), according to the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI).

The mission is organized by the German-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce and Industry with support from the CCCI and the Employers and Industrialists Federation (OEB).

According to the CCCI announcement, the eight German companies, specializing in energy-saving solutions and building energy efficiency, will meet with Cypriot companies, agencies, and organizations to explore potential collaborations.

Specifically, the German delegation includes:

  • Apollo Green Solution UG: Transparent photovoltaics combined with battery systems and charging stations.

  • SUNSET Energietechnik GmbH: Photovoltaic and solar systems with a neutral CO2 balance.

  • Led Light Germany GmbH: Energy-saving lighting systems and antibacterial LED lighting.

  • inVENTer GmbH: Sustainable ventilation systems for PassiveHouse buildings.

  • Steinel GmbH: Advanced lighting systems with integrated management systems.

  • Ecodry: Wall dehumidification, ventilation systems, and wall coatings.

  • Soliterm Group GmbH and Protarget AG: Solar systems for thermal energy production for industrial applications.

During the visit, a seminar titled "Renewable Energies and Energy Modernization of Commercial and Hotel Buildings in Cyprus" will be held on Tuesday, July 2, at a hotel in Limassol.

Specialized Cypriot and German speakers will enhance the seminar with presentations on the potential of the German market and the state and prospects of the sector in Cyprus.

These technological proposals are aimed at medium and large companies with opportunities for energy upgrades, energy-saving initiatives, hotel units, local government organizations, project developers, food and beverage industries, and companies in the architectural sector.

The CCCI announcement mentions that the profiles of the participating German companies are posted on the German-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce and Industry website. Interested businesses and sector organizations can fill out the interest declaration form available on the website.
