Urgent Talks Ahead for Hotel Industry Collective Agreement Renewal

Key Negotiations to Resume with Mediation Involvement

According to SEK, the coming hours are crucial for renewing the collective agreement in the hotel industry. This afternoon, hotel associations PASYXE and STEK, along with unions OUXEKA-SEK and SYXKA PEO, will return to the negotiating table with the involvement of the Mediation Service of the Ministry of Labor and Social Insurance.

The goal of the negotiations, as stated in a SEK announcement, is to reach an agreement that will lead to the renewal of the collective agreement.

“A positive outcome from the dialogue that leads to the renewal of the collective agreement will create beneficial effects on the working conditions and terms for hotel employees. At the same time, it will support the better and smoother operation of the broader tourism industry,” SEK adds.

Finally, SEK reminds that the Department of Labor Relations at the Ministry of Labor has already conducted a series of meetings with both parties.
