Investment opportunities in Cyprus were the focus of the business forum titled "Discovering Cyprus: A Hub for Business Growth and Opportunities," jointly organized today by the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) and Invest Cyprus.

According to a statement from the CCCI, the forum serves as a significant milestone in strengthening business and economic relations between Cyprus and Lebanon, showcasing strategic collaboration opportunities and positioning Cyprus as a gateway to the European Union and Mediterranean and Middle Eastern markets.

The President of CCCI, Stavros Stavrou, warmly welcomed the business delegation from the Franco-Lebanese Chamber of Commerce and Industry. He highlighted the unique advantages Cyprus offers as a business destination, including its favorable business environment, competitive tax regime, and robust legal framework, making it ideal for Lebanese and international companies looking to expand into European and global markets.

Furthermore, Mr. Stavrou emphasized the potential for trilateral cooperation between Cyprus, France, and Lebanon, which could be explored further in future discussions.

Following this, the Deputy Minister of Research, Innovation, and Digital Policy, Nicodemos Damianou, presented on "Cyprus: An Emerging and Rapidly Developing Regional Hub for Technology and Innovation." Mr. Damianos discussed the reforms and investments Cyprus is implementing in the digital sector, highlighting its role as a base for high-tech service provision and a connectivity and data center hub.

The forum concluded with scheduled B2B meetings between Cypriot and Lebanese entrepreneurs, providing significant networking opportunities and the establishment of business collaborations. These connections pave the way for not only commercial transactions but also joint investments, research programs, and innovative initiatives that can promote sustainable development and innovation.
