AEGEAN Announces New Direct Route Between Cyprus and Rome
Three Weekly Flights to Connect Larnaca and Rome Starting in April 2025, With Plans to Continue Year-Round
AEGEAN Airlines announced the launch of a new direct route connecting Cyprus with Rome, set to begin in April 2025. The new route will operate from Larnaca International Airport “Glafkos Clerides” to Leonardo da Vinci International Airport (Fiumicino) in Rome.
The flights will run three times a week—on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays—during the summer season of 2025, with the intention of continuing throughout the winter. The flights are scheduled for 16:05 local time, with an arrival in Rome at 18:35 local time. Tickets are already available on AEGEAN’s website, booking systems, and travel agencies.
As part of its ongoing efforts to enhance its services, AEGEAN introduced a new Business Lounge at Larnaca Airport last June. The lounge, covering 345 square meters, is located next to the departure gates and offers abundant natural light and unobstructed views of the runway.
Additionally, with the introduction of this new route and an increase in activity on its existing routes, AEGEAN plans to increase its total capacity to and from Cyprus by 9% in 2025 compared to the previous year, offering a total of 1.25 million seats.
