Bicommunal Initiative Showcases Cypriot Startups on the Global Stage

Startups4Peace Joined SLUSH 2024 to Promote Cypriot Innovation

Participants from the Startups4Peace (Su4P) program attended SLUSH 2024, the world’s leading event for startups, held in Helsinki, Finland, on November 20–21. Startups4Peace is a bicommunal initiative co-funded by the European Union and the Embassy of Finland in Cyprus.

According to an official statement, Su4P operates under the Eunite Program, supported by the EU Aid Programme for the Turkish Cypriot Community. Eunite aims to integrate Turkish Cypriot businesses into the island’s economy and the EU market through grants, training, mentoring, and entrepreneurial development initiatives.

This year’s Su4P program featured five innovative startups, accompanied by alumni from previous cycles of the initiative. The participants spent a week in Helsinki, experiencing Finland's vibrant culture and engaging in exclusive networking opportunities and one-on-one meetings ahead of the event.
