The Cyprus Tax Department has announced an extension for the payment and submission of VAT returns, following technical issues affecting online government services.

Tax Commissioner Sotiris Markides confirmed that the original deadline of January 10, 2025, for VAT payments and returns related to the period ending November 30, 2024, has been extended to Tuesday, January 14, 2025.

This decision follows disruptions caused by technical problems with government online services earlier this week.
