A Celebration of Greek Wines and Gastronomy in Nicosia

On Thursday, January 23, Sauvage Wine Bar will host Thanos Dougos, winemaker from the renowned Dougos Winery located at the foothills of Mount Olympus. Joining him is Andreas Kyprianou, Wine Director of the Vino Hospitality Group. Together, they will share their passion for wine and legendary stories about the Greek vineyard in an evening of wine tasting and gastronomy.

This exclusive event offers wine enthusiasts the opportunity to discover two premium wines from Dougos Winery: Opsimo and Mavrotragano. The evening pairs nine meticulously crafted dishes by the Sauvage team with six exceptional wines from the Greek vineyard.

The wine briefing will take place at three different times—7:00 PM, 8:00 PM, and 9:00 PM—allowing guests to engage with the hosts and delve into their wealth of wine expertise.

Sauvage opened its doors in Nicosia last May, offering a one-of-a-kind wine experience in the capital. The bar specializes in biodynamic, organic, skin-contact (orange), and artisanal wines from small producers focused on low to zero intervention and sustainability.
