Paphos Honors the Memory of Tempi Train Crash Victim
A Park Named in Remembrance of Anastasia Adamidou
The Municipality of Paphos has decided to name a small park in honor of Anastasia Adamidou, who tragically lost her life in the Tempi train disaster. The Municipal Council unanimously approved the decision during its meeting on February 24, 2025, following a proposal by Mayor Phedonas Phedonos.
The decision to name the park after Anastasia Adamidou serves as a tribute to her memory and a symbolic reminder of the victims of the Tempi tragedy, ensuring they are never forgotten.
"A small park in our city will forever bear her name, keeping her memory alive within the local community," the municipality's statement concluded.
