Irish Travel Show ‘Téacs Taistil’ Films in Larnaca
TG4 Series Highlights Larnaca as a Cultural and Adventure Destination for Young Travelers Aged 20–35
The production crew of the Irish travel series Téacs Taistil is currently in Larnaca, filming an episode for the show’s fourth season, which will air on TG4 in April 2026, according to a statement by the Larnaka Tourism Board (ETAP).
Larnaca is one of six featured destinations in the upcoming season, alongside Toronto, Chicago, Wisconsin, Rhodes, and Bucharest. The production for the Larnaca episode is being coordinated in collaboration with ETAP, with the goal of showcasing both the city and wider district as a dynamic travel destination.
Téacs Taistil is designed for a youthful, adventure-seeking audience aged 20 to 35, blending cultural exploration with lighthearted entertainment. The three presenters immerse themselves in each destination through interactive missions and challenges, offering viewers a fun and engaging travel experience.
The show’s social media-savvy hosts maintain popular online profiles, boosting the reach and visibility of the featured destinations across digital platforms.
Assistant producer Chloe Tynan commented, “This is our first time in the area and the experience has been truly exceptional.”
Local involvement was a key component of the production agreement. As part of ETAP Larnaca’s Memorandum of Understanding with UCLan Cyprus, a student from the university’s Media Production program participated directly in the filming process, gaining hands-on experience with an international crew.
