The ENA Foundation is organizing the innovative event “Connect for Change” on December 4, 2025, bringing together Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) and businesses with the aim of opening a meaningful dialogue on partnerships with real social impact.

The event, which will take place at Olio in Nicosia, is addressed to NGOs and private companies active in the fields of corporate sustainability and responsibility, seeking to develop collaborations for social benefit. The initiative aims to create a space for exchanging knowledge, best practices, and opportunities for synergies, strengthening dialogue and the development of socially beneficial actions. At a time when social challenges require joint action, the “Connect for Change” networking event will also highlight how the experience and knowledge of NGOs can meet the dynamism, networks, and resources of businesses, creating partnerships that benefit society as a whole.

During the event, the three projects that will receive funding under the Grants for Change program will be presented for the first time. This program is an open call for project proposals from NGOs, along with the new theme that will form the basis of the 2026 open call. This presentation marks the beginning of a series of collaborations connecting organizations, local communities, and businesses through a support model that emphasizes sustainability.

The program will include two targeted panel discussions dedicated to the relationship between NGOs and businesses and the potential for joint action in a transparent and sustainable way. The first focuses on how the two sides can co-create social impact, overcoming prejudices and strengthening trust. The second presents examples of collaborations already implemented, showing how an idea can evolve into action when there is a shared purpose. Together, the discussions aim to highlight what works, what challenges arise, and what the prerequisites are for productive and meaningful cooperation between the two sides.

This will be followed by a Facilitated Networking Session in collaboration with Conversation Café Cyprus, offering a lively way for participants to meet, exchange experiences, and explore potential partnerships beyond the usual logic of typical networking.

The event will conclude with a networking cocktail, giving participants the opportunity to continue the dialogue in an informal and friendly environment.
