Cyfield Leads Affordable Housing Initiative in Nicosia
Strategic Partnership with KOAG Aims to Expand Access to Affordable Housing
As one of the first companies to implement Cyprus’s Affordable Housing Plan—and the first to do so in Nicosia—Cyfield is strengthening efforts to increase affordable housing availability. The initiative highlights how public-private sector collaboration can offer practical solutions to the country’s housing challenges.
On Thursday, February 6, Cyfield’s Executive Director, Despina Chrysochou, signed an agreement with the Cyprus Land Development Corporation (KOAG), marking the launch of a strategic project aimed at expanding the supply of cost-effective residential units.
Under this initiative, Cyfield will develop residential units in the Municipality of Strovolos, with a portion of the project allocated at affordable prices to eligible beneficiaries designated by KOAG.
Commenting on the agreement, Despina Chrysochou stated: "Leveraging our expertise and experience, Cyfield continues to invest in projects that positively impact society and shape the country’s future. Through our participation in the Affordable Housing Plan, we aim to help address a pressing issue affecting thousands of our fellow citizens and enhance their quality of life."
With a longstanding vision for sustainable development, Cyfield remains committed to creating quality, accessible housing solutions, supporting individuals and families in search of affordable living options.
