First Phase of Paralimni Marina to Be Completed by End of 2024

The first phase of the Paralimni Marina is expected to be finished by the end of 2024, as announced by Giorgos Nikoletos, the mayor of Paralimni-Deryneia, during a site visit on Monday.

This initial phase will include 300 mooring spaces, with the first vessels anticipated to arrive before the tourist season begins. The project is projected to have a positive impact on the area, boosting nautical tourism, as it will establish an official entry point to the Republic of Cyprus.

During his visit, Nikoletos was briefed on the project’s progress by Anthoulis Kountouris, CEO of PMV Maritime Holdings.

This phase will see the completion of port infrastructure, administrative offices, and commercial facilities, all set to be operational by the next tourist season.

Nikoletos emphasized that the commercial development and the establishment of an official entry point from Protaras will greatly contribute to the area's growth.

The Paralimni Marina project stands out as the only marina development in Cyprus fully funded by a local investor, with a total investment of €100 million.
