The Digital Citizen app was officially launched today, marking a pivotal advancement in the digitization of citizen services in Cyprus.

Developed as part of a bilateral agreement between Greece and Cyprus, the app is designed to digitize essential citizen services. Currently, it allows users to issue and store key documents, including:

• Identity cards

• Driving licenses

• Vehicle roadworthiness certificates

Future updates will integrate additional documents and certificates, further enhancing the app’s capabilities and user convenience.

President Christodoulides emphasized that the launch of the Digital Citizen app is a significant milestone in Cyprus’s broader initiative to interconnect and modernize digital services.
