The Municipality of Paphos has hailed the official opening of its Research, Technology, and Innovation Center as a milestone for the city.

In an announcement, the Municipality welcomed the first three startup companies, specializing in EnergyTech and AgriTech, under the guidance of Zein AUB Innovation Park. These companies are setting up in five of the Center's offices, contributing to the city's technological and innovative growth.

The Center's operation, combined with AUB Mediterraneo University, the Department of Management, Entrepreneurship, and Digital Business of CUT, the company JetBrains, and other companies and organizations that have established themselves in Paphos in recent years, creates a strong ecosystem.

"This ecosystem promotes the further development and evolution of the technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship sector in our city, forming the third pillar of the local economy," the announcement added.

"Paphos, with the establishment and operation of the Research, Technology, and Innovation Center, solidifies its position as a regional hub of innovation and business excellence, making our city a reference point for innovation and technological development," concluded the Municipality of Paphos.
