The Cyprus Research and Innovation Foundation (RIF) is currently exploring market interest and gathering information regarding the use of Regulation (EU) 2024/795, known as the "Strategic Technologies for Europe Platform" (STEP).

According to a statement by the RIF, "This initiative aims to create new funding programs to support Cypriot businesses seeking to develop facilities and production lines for the manufacturing of innovative products in the areas of digital and deep technology innovation, clean and resource-efficient technologies, and biotechnologies."

The program is open to businesses of all sizes across Cyprus.

Under the STEP Regulation, the development and production process includes transitioning products from the testing phase to full-scale production, with the ultimate goal of making them commercially available.

Interested parties can participate in this market survey by completing an online questionnaire.

The deadline for submissions is October 30, 2024, at 13:00.

Responses will remain confidential and will be used solely for the purpose of this survey.
