Meta Reports 32% Improvement in Ad Campaign Results Through AI Tools

AI-Enabled Ads Also Saw a 17% Reduction in Acquisition Costs

Nicola Mendelsohn, Global Business Group Leader at Meta Platforms Inc., revealed that their apps' ad returns increased by an average of 32% thanks to artificial intelligence in a Bloomberg Television interview at the World Economic Forum in Davos.

AI-enabled ads also saw a 17% reduction in acquisition costs, Mendelsohn noted. These advancements in AI have notably streamlined the campaign creation process. Where setting up an ad campaign previously required between 15 and 30 steps, it can now be accomplished with just a single click, she highlighted.

Meta, last year, introduced advanced generative AI tools for advertisers. These tools, equipped with features for rapid image and text creation and ad performance prediction, are part of Meta's strategic response to enhance ad performance and compensate for the loss of targeting data due to Apple Inc.'s privacy updates.
