Nvidia Breaks $4 Trillion Barrier, Becomes World’s Most Valuable Company

Fueled by AI chip dominance, Nvidia surpasses Microsoft and Apple to lead global market capitalization rankings.

Nvidia has officially surpassed the $4 trillion market capitalization milestone, becoming the first company worldwide to reach this level.

The company is now the most valuable in the world, overtaking tech giants Microsoft and Apple, both of which had previously crossed the $3 trillion mark. Notably, Microsoft — now nearing the $4 trillion threshold itself — remains one of Nvidia's largest and most significant clients.

This landmark was achieved following a more than 2.5% surge in Nvidia’s stock during Wednesday's trading session on Wall Street. The rally coincides with renewed investor interest in the artificial intelligence (AI) sector.

Nvidia continues to lead the AI industry, thanks to its cutting-edge AI chips. This strategic positioning has propelled the company on an astronomical growth trajectory over the past two years.

Headquartered in California and founded in 1993, Nvidia first surpassed a $2 trillion market cap in February 2024, followed by the $3 trillion milestone in June.

After a brief correction, Nvidia's stock regained momentum in 2025, gaining over 20% so far this year. Since early 2023, the company's shares have skyrocketed more than 1,000%.

As a result of this explosive growth, Nvidia now represents approximately 7.5% of the S&P 500 index — nearing the highest level of market influence ever recorded in the U.S. market.

This upward trajectory is expected to continue, with nearly 90% of analysts maintaining a “buy” rating on the stock, reflecting broad confidence in Nvidia’s sustained growth potential.
