The Super Early Bird tickets for the Alternative Brains Rule Festival, which is taking place 19–22 June 2025 in Nicosia, sold out just one day after their release.

Early Birds (€35 for the whole duration of the festival) go on sale 21 April.

The buzz around the event highlights the strong interest in this exciting new phase of the much-loved AfroBanana Festival, which returns this summer with:

• a new identity – Alternative Brains Rule Festival

• a new location – right in the heart of Nicosia

• a new rhythm – as a biennale, building up over two years with a full-blown celebration.

The Alternative Brains Rule Festival remains committed to opening up space for experimentation, expression, and meaningful participation. Through performances, workshops, sound and visual installations, community-driven initiatives, and international  collaborations, the festival injects new energy into Nicosia — inviting audiences to experience the city from a different perspective.
