Cyprus celebrated the spirit of youth innovation and enterprise on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, during the 8th annual “Ge’ Neo Epicheirein” (Young Entrepreneurship) Awards, held at the Presidential Palace. Organized by the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) and the magazine Thessalonikis Dromena, the event once again highlighted the creativity, resilience, and talent driving the country’s next generation of business leaders.

Supported by the Ministry of Energy, Commerce and Industry, Eurobank Ltd, the Cyprus Youth Organization, Coneq, and the Association of Cypriot Cartoonists, the ceremony has become an established institution recognizing outstanding young entrepreneurs across multiple sectors.

CCCI President Stavrou emphasized that entrepreneurship is essential to the nation’s prosperity, describing it as a catalyst for innovation, employment, and sustainable growth. He noted that the Chamber actively promotes young entrepreneurship through initiatives that encourage education–industry partnerships, reduce bureaucracy, and advocate for new incentives and tax measures to help young people launch and expand their businesses.
