Cyprus and Greece Strengthen Trade and Investment Ties at Business Forum

Over 250 B2B Meetings Foster New Collaborations in Industry, Technology, and Energy

The importance that Cyprus and Greece place on strengthening their trade and investment relations was emphasized at the Cyprus-Greece Business Forum, held in Nicosia.

According to the Employers and Industrialists Federation (OEB), a key success indicator of the forum was the 250 business-to-business (B2B) meetings between Greek and Cypriot companies. These meetings provided participants with an opportunity to present their products and services and explore potential collaborations in industries such as manufacturing, technology, information technology, energy, environmental management, and construction.

This initiative is part of OEB’s ongoing efforts to promote the international expansion of Cypriot businesses and strengthen their collaborations with global partners, the announcement stated.

The forum was organized by the Employers and Industrialists Federation (OEB) in cooperation with the Hellenic Federation of Enterprises (SEV), the Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry (EBEA), the Greek Exporters Association (SEVE), and Enterprise Greece.

Notable attendees included Greek Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Anastasios Hatzivassiliou, Secretary General for International Economic Relations and Openness at the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dimitris Skalcos, Greek Ambassador to Cyprus Ioannis Papameletios, Cyprus Ministry of Foreign Affairs Director General Ambassador Andreas Kakouris, and OEB President Antonis Antoniou.
