€4.3 Million Sustainable Urban Mobility Projects Begin in Larnaca
Parking and Transfer Stations to Be Developed in Aradippou and Kalo Chorio
The Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan projects in the Municipality of Aradippou and the former community of Kalo Chorio, Larnaca District, are set to cost €4.3 million plus VAT. The projects, funded by the European Union's Recovery and Resilience Facility, are expected to be completed within 14 months.
The contract, signed on January 20, 2025, at the Department of Public Works, involves the design, construction, and 12-year maintenance of two parking and transfer stations. The agreement was signed by Public Works Director Eleftherios Eleftheriou on behalf of the government and Spiros Hadjichristofi, Director of S. Hadjichristofi Construction Limited.
The project was awarded to the successful bidder for €4,368,000 plus VAT after a competitive tender process.
In Aradippou, the project includes:
