Petrolina (Holdings) Public Limited announces that on 31.01.2026 the acquisition of the entire share capital (100%) of ExxonMobil Cyprus Limited was completed by its wholly owned subsidiary, Med Energywise Ltd. The total consideration paid for the acquisition amounted to €45.1 million, following the finalization of the agreed completion adjustments, in accordance with the Share Purchase Agreement dated 27.11.2024.

Following the change in ownership and its integration into the Petrolina Group, ExxonMobil Cyprus Limited will be renamed eWise Cyprus Ltd, upon completion of the relevant procedures required by law.

In a related statement, Mr. Dinos Lefkaritis, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Petrolina (Holdings) Public Limited, said he is proud of the strengthening of the Petrolina Group through the addition of such a significant brand. As he noted, the Group aims to further leverage the brand’s long-standing commercial presence and heritage by securing a license to use the ESSO trademarks in the Cypriot market, ensuring the continued operation of service stations under that brand.

Mr. Lefkaritis also thanked everyone who contributed to achieving this strategic objective, as well as Eurobank for financing the transaction, which constitutes a significant development for the Cypriot market.
