Limassol to Host Global Startup Competition - Unicorn Pitches
In recent years, Cyprus has rapidly evolved into a dynamic startup ecosystem—a place where international teams create breakthrough technologies, test ideas, and launch them into global markets. On December 3rd, Limassol will host the Cyprus edition of Unicorn Pitches: AI-Powered Real World Innovation, part of the global Unicorn.Events competition network.
The event is a key part of Unicorn.Events, the world’s largest startup pitch contest that unites 125 countries, over 500 events, and has helped startups attract more than $1 billion in funding. This year, the spotlight turns to Cyprus - as 15 entrepreneurs take the stage to pitch their innovative solutions to an international jury of investors and venture capital experts from Europe, the U.S., and the Middle East.
Andrii Moroz, organizer of Unicorn Pitches Limassol, noted: “Startup applications are open until the end of November. Our goal is to show the world that Cyprus is not only a place for leisure and business, but also a true innovation hub - where global ideas and local talent thrive together. Cyprus has everything needed to create the next generation of success stories.”
Startups and teams working in AI, Fintech, Blockchain, and Sustainable Technologies are invited to apply through the official form on Unicorn.Events by the end of November.
Tetiana Diachenko, Founder of Cyprus Business Club, which is organizing the event in Limassol, added: “Our partnership with Unicorn Pitches combines the global experience of Unicorn.Events with the strength of Cyprus’s local business community. It’s an important step toward positioning Cyprus as a regional hub for innovation and investment.”
The event will gather over 300 investors, founders, and innovators from more than 10 countries. Beyond recognition, participating startups will gain access to venture funds, global exposure, and international partnerships. The winner will go on to represent Cyprus at the Global Unicorn Battle in Los Angeles, USA, in 2026.
