Unicorn Pitches Limassol, part of the world’s largest startup pitch competition, has announced the final shortlist of standout teams: Placy, Ostr.io, and Code Maestro. All 12 shortlisted startups showcased their innovations live on stage at the OPUS venue, where this year’s event gathered more than 250 founders, investors, and technology leaders from Cyprus and abroad.

After a highly competitive round of pitches and evaluations from an international jury, Code Maestro was selected as the winner of the Cyprus edition. This is an AI-powered development assistant that helps engineers write, debug, and optimize code across multiple programming languages. The team will go on to represent Cyprus at the Global Unicorn Battle in California in 2026, gaining access to top-tier investors, international exposure, and a chance to compete on the global stage.

The other two finalists impressed the jury with strong technological vision and real potential for global scale:

• Placy – a location-intelligence platform helping users find the best places to live and work through advanced, data-driven matching.

• Ostr.io – a developer-centric web platform offering monitoring, analytics, and performance tools for SaaS and online businesses.

These teams usually gain between 5,000 and 10,000 views of their presentation, which convert into meeting requests and, in many cases, real investment opportunities.
