This year, the maritime services group UW Group celebrates 25 years of successful operations and continuous contribution to the shipping industry. As part of its 25th anniversary celebrations, the Group is organizing a series of special events, honoring the people who have supported its journey throughout the years, while reaffirming its long-standing commitment to Cypriot society.

The anniversary celebrations will officially commence on Tuesday, June 25th, at Sand Beach Club and Resto at 19:00. The event will be attended by distinguished representatives of the Cypriot authorities, shipowners, and strategic partners of the Group, in an evening dedicated to the relationships of trust and mutual appreciation that have been built over the past 25 years.

The celebrations will continue on Wednesday, June 26th, with an event of strong cultural and social significance. At 18:00, at the Amathus Hotel in Limassol, a ceremonial unveiling of a specially commissioned commemorative sculpture will take place, which the Group is donating to the Municipality of Amathountas as a token of gratitude and enduring support for the city. Immediately after, at 19:00, UW Group will officially hand over a newly constructed children’s playground at River Park Coffee and Nature, specifically designed for children with special abilities. The project is implemented by the Life Jacket Foundation, the Group’s non-profit organization, as part of UW Group’s Corporate Social Responsibility strategy, which promotes equal accessibility and social inclusion.
