Due to the cancellation of 30 applications submitted under the supplementary grants of the Electric Mobility Promotion Scheme in Cyprus, subsidies for used zero-emission passenger cars (Category G9) will be reallocated.

The application portal will reopen on September 2 at 11:00 a.m. and will remain available until September 16 at midnight, unless funds are exhausted earlier.

According to the announcement from the Department of Road Transport (DRT), the online portal will be temporarily unavailable on September 2 between 09:00 and 11:00 a.m.

Category G9 provides a €9,000 subsidy for the purchase of a used private vehicle with zero CO2 emissions.

Applications must be submitted online through the official DRT website no later than September 16 at 24:00, or until the grant funds run out, whichever occurs first.

The implementation of approved applications for this supplementary call must be completed by October 31, 2025.

The Department also reserves the right to terminate the application process earlier than the stated deadline. In such a case, an announcement will be issued at least seven days in advance.
