CySEC Issues an Investors’ Guide for Personal Financial Independence

Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) issued an investor guide, entitled "Building Personal Financial Independence in the Digital World".
According to a press release by the Committee, this practical guide aims to support individuals in building financial security, making informed investment decisions, and navigating modern digital financial markets.
"Through the guide, citizens can learn what Personal Financial Independence is, how it develops at different stages of life, as well as practical ways to strengthen healthy financial habits and responsible financial management," CySEC says.
As it is noted, achieving personal financial independence is no longer a distant goal. It is an essential life skill in today’s fast-evolving digital financial environment. In a world where financial decisions are increasingly shaped by technology, online platforms, and rapidly changing markets, individuals need both the knowledge and confidence to manage their money effectively and securely.
The guide is published by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) as part of its participation in OECD’s international financial literacy awareness campaign, Global Money Week 2026.
