Shipping Has Strong Fundamentals and Potential for Further Growth, Csc Head Says
The President of the Cyprus Shipping Chamber Andreas Neophytou said that the Shipping Industry has strong fundamentals and significant potential for further growth.
In an address at the Cyprus Shipping Chamber's 37th Annual General Meeting held Wednesday in Limassol, Neophytou noted that from local initiatives to international representation, the Chamber continues to work tirelessly to ensure the industry remains globally competitive and resilient.
While acknowledging the key challenges ahead, he noted that "through collective action, cooperation and innovation, Cyprus Shipping is well positioned to continue thriving in a rapidly evolving global environment'', he said.
Professor Marios Panagiotis Efthymiopoulos, Director at Strategy International (SI) and Associate Professor of International Security and Strategy was the keynote speaker and provided a vital assessment of the geopolitical forces shaping global shipping today, while highlighting Cyprus Shipping’s competitive advantages and strategic positioning.
His insights offered a clear roadmap for the sector’s continued development, reaffirming that even in a challenging global climate, Cyprus Shipping has the fundamentals to succeed and grow, a press release by the Chamber says.
President Nikos Christodoulides and House President Annita Demetriou also addressed the event.
