Cyprus Productivity Centre Trains Over 6,000 in Digital Skills
From March 2022 to December 2024, the initiative delivered 538 free programs, focusing on enhancing digital literacy across diverse age groups.
The Cyprus Productivity Centre (KEPA), operating under the Ministry of Labour and Social Insurance, announced on Monday that it has successfully implemented 538 digital skills training programs from March 2022 to December 2024, reaching over 6,000 participants.
In its statement, KEPA outlined the breakdown of the 538 programs:

307 programs were designed specifically for individuals aged 55 and over.

57 programs were open to the general public.

48 programs led to ICDL certification upon successful examination.
Additionally, 126 programs were conducted in collaboration with the Deputy Ministry of Research, Innovation, and Digital Policy, a partnership that concluded in late 2023.
Among the participants:

3,576 individuals aged 55 and over attended the digital skills programs.

608 participants joined general training programs.

All programs were offered free of charge, funded by the EU Recovery and Resilience Facility as part of the Cyprus Recovery and Resilience Plan.
