The Ministry of Finance has announced an extension for submitting applications for the state student grant until October 24, 2025, for the 2024–2025 academic year.

According to a statement issued by the Grants and Allowances Service of the Ministry of Finance, it was found that a number of online applications for the state student grant— which, under the provisions of the State Student Grant Law of 2015–2022, were required to be submitted by parents or guardians—were instead submitted by students themselves through their personal Cy Login accounts.

“The purpose of the student grant is to support students who meet the eligibility criteria. Following a Cabinet decision dated October 8, 2025, an extraordinary extension has been granted for the submission of applications for the state student grant from October 20 to October 24, 2025, for the 2024–2025 academic year, providing an additional opportunity for submission,” the announcement adds.

Therefore, families of students for whom no application has been submitted as required by law, as well as those who have not yet applied for the state student grant for the 2024–2025 academic year, are urged to submit their applications within the specified period.

It is emphasized that once this deadline expires, no further applications for the 2024–2025 academic year will be accepted.
