Goal: Supporting Local Businesses For Strategic Penetration Into The Chinese Market
The Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) has signed a Cooperation Agreement with the EU SME Centre, aiming to support local small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in their strategic penetration into the Chinese market.
According to a press release from CCCI, the EU SME Centre (an initiative of the European Union) provides a wide range of practical support services to SMEs in Europe and countries participating in the Single Market Programme (SMP) to develop business activities in China.
The main objective of the cooperation is to offer substantial support to local SMEs, helping them establish, develop, and maintain commercial activities in the Chinese market through exports and investments, particularly during the critical initial stages of their strategic penetration into the Chinese market.
As stated, through cooperation with the EU SME Centre, CCCI aims to leverage their expertise and services to offer local SMEs the necessary guidance and support to navigate the complex processes of the Chinese market.
The collaboration includes a series of services such as market research, regulatory compliance advice, finding potential business partners, and practical support to ensure the success of Cypriot businesses in China.
The cooperation creates new opportunities for local businesses and will significantly contribute to their growth and international expansion, it is noted.
