The Electricity Authority of Cyprus (EAC) is seeking an expert to provide services to the Distribution System Operator for the preparation of a technical guide and system requirements for storage systems within the Distribution System.

To this end, the EAC has announced a tender with an estimated value of €80,000 and a submission deadline of June 28.

Specifically, this is the second tender issued by the EAC, focusing on the preparation of a technical guide with the technical requirements for connecting storage units to photovoltaic (PV) systems up to 120 kW.

It is worth noting that another tender has already been awarded to an expert from the Transmission System Operator and Distribution System Operator for storage units for PV systems of 120 kW and above.
