Total beer sales increased by 9.4% year-on-year in May 2024, driven by heightened domestic demand.

According to data from the Statistical Service, total beer sales in May 2024 reached 4,682,575 liters, compared to 4,281,282 liters in May 2023.

Beer sales for domestic consumption rose by 13.3%, totaling 4,475,044 liters, compared to 3,951,318 liters in May 2023.

Conversely, beer exports decreased significantly by 37.1%, amounting to 207,531 liters compared to May 2023.

Compared to the previous month (April 2024), total beer sales in May 2024 increased by 26.8%.
