RIF Announces €45.3M Funding Programmes for 2025

New Calls Include AI for Public Sector and Fast-Track Innovation Support

The Research and Innovation Foundation (RIF) has announced its main funding calls for 2025, with a total budget exceeding €45.3 million. These programmes aim to support research, innovation, and international collaboration across various sectors.

For the first time in its funding portfolio, RIF is introducing programmes to finance production lines for innovative products and develop Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions to address public sector challenges. Additionally, the Fast-Track Innovation programme will facilitate the rapid development and commercialization of innovative products and services, according to RIF’s press release.

The 2025 funding calls are aligned with RIF’s five key priorities: Research, Knowledge Transfer and Collaboration, Innovation, Internationalisation, and Infrastructure and Capabilities.
