The most magical night experience of the year returns to the historic center of Nicosia!
Starry Strides 2025, the first night city half marathon in Cyprus, is coming on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, under the spring full moon of flowers.
The race is open to runners of all ages and levels — from beginner walkers to experienced athletes — combining exercise, culture, light, and music in an atmosphere of celebration and togetherness.

Starry Stroll – 6.25km (ideal for beginners, families, young children & walkers)

Starry Strides – 12.5km (for more dynamic runners and corporate teams)

Starry Half Marathon – 21.2km (the ultimate night challenge for advanced runners)
Ledra and Onasagorou pedestrian streets, Eleftheria Square, the new route of Makariou Avenue, the Linear Park, the Municipal Garden, the tunnel near Paphos Gate, and the Venetian walls — all illuminated under the enchanting full moon.
The race starts and finishes at City Hall Square, creating a magical circle in the heart of the city.
Traffic will not be significantly affected – No main road will close, thanks to the innovative route design.
Bring along friends, colleagues, children, or even your pets — STARRY STRIDES is a night celebration open to all!
