Cypriot hospitality startup Cleedee launches on Crowdbase

Cleedee, a Cyprus-based startup tackling one of hospitality's biggest operational headaches, has launched its crowdfunding campaign on Crowdbase, inviting EU investors to back the company from €100.

In hotels and restaurants, managers can spend up to 15% of their working hours acting as recruiters. Cleedee, a Cypriot startup, has built a platform that uses artificial intelligence to shrink that to days. Its crowdfunding campaign is now open to public investors on Crowdbase from €100.

A hiring problem the industry hasn’t solved

Hospitality is one of the most hiring-intensive sectors in the world. Turnover is high, seasonal demand is unpredictable, and every empty shift is a revenue problem. The tools managers rely on, from job boards and agencies to walk-ins and instinct, were not built for the speed or scale the industry needs. Cleedee is rebuilding that process from the ground up.

How Cleedee works

Cleedee was founded by a team combining a prior 8-figure exit (Bolt Cyprus franchise shareholder) with senior engineering and leadership experience at Arrival and Qogita. Cleedee's platform uses artificial intelligence to source, screen, and match hospitality candidates to employers in days rather than weeks. Since launching in Cyprus in early 2025, the company has built a talent pool of more than 11,500 pre-screened candidates, onboarded over 90 hotel and restaurant business locations, and completed 180 verified placements.

In early 2026, Cleedee transitioned to a recurring subscription model, with annual, quarterly, and enterprise contracts already in place, generating over €85,000 in revenue to date. The platform is built on proprietary core IP, with Cleedee owning the data, the AI-powered matching infrastructure, and the automation that powers recruitment at scale.

The investment round

The campaign is open for investment until 24 May 2026, with a minimum funding target of €50,000 and a maximum of €300,000. The minimum investment is €100, keeping the entry point low for investors at any experience level.
