Cyprus Becomes Home to LTIMindtree’s New Digital Innovation Hub
New Innovation Center at CYENS aims to boost decision-making, operational efficiency, and cross-border collaboration for Eurobank, Fairfax, and EU clients
A new Digital Innovation Center focused on advancing digital transformation, risk management, decision-making, and operational efficiency will be launched by LTIMindtree at the CYENS Centre of Excellence in Nicosia. The center will serve as a hub for idea development, co-creation, and the implementation of cutting-edge digital solutions for Eurobank, Fairfax, and other partners across the European Union, according to an announcement by Hellenic Bank, a member of the Eurobank Group.
These advanced systems are designed to streamline and automate complex processes, support data-driven decision-making, and integrate seamlessly with databases to improve operational accuracy and efficiency. “Positioned at the intersection of technology and financial services, the center aims to foster collaboration, ensure regulatory alignment, and serve as a transformative force for financial institutions and banks in the region,” the statement added.
Cyprus’s Deputy Minister of Research, Innovation, and Digital Policy welcomed the launch, describing the LTIMindtree Innovation Center as a strategic milestone that places Cyprus at the forefront of developments in artificial intelligence and digital empowerment.
“Beyond the establishment of a new tech hub, this initiative signifies Cyprus’s evolution into a regional force in advanced technologies and digital innovation,” he noted. “It also reflects the strength of our partnerships with leading global tech players and dynamic ecosystems such as India’s.”
The Deputy Minister reaffirmed the government's commitment to working with India, other global partners, and the private sector to create a future where talent, innovation, and technology converge—positioning Cyprus as a key gateway for digital transformation solutions in Europe and beyond.
Sanjay Tugnait, President and CEO of Fairfax Digital Services and board member of the Cyprus-India Business Association, emphasized that the center aligns with Eurobank’s vision to lead in digital banking.
“Together with LTIMindtree, Eurobank, Fairfax Digital, and Voicing.AI, the center will accelerate Eurobank’s evolution into a pioneer in digital-first banking, with a steadfast focus on customer-centricity,” Tugnait said. He highlighted that the initiative will enhance the customer experience through secure, human-centered, and cost-efficient solutions.
“This partnership deepens Cyprus–India relations in technology and trade, building a bridge of innovation and mutual prosperity,” he concluded.
Michalis Louis, CEO of Hellenic Bank (part of Eurobank Group), stated that the initiative reinforces Eurobank’s long-term commitment to investing in cutting-edge technologies such as Artificial Intelligence and advanced data analytics.
“Working closely with our strategic partners LTIMindtree and Fairfax Digital Services, the Eurobank Group is expanding its international footprint and unlocking new opportunities within the broader financial ecosystem,” Louis said. “The launch of the center in Cyprus further highlights the island’s culture of business excellence and solidifies its place on the European innovation map.”
