Deloitte Showcases the Fastest-Growing Tech Startups in Cyprus and the Middle East
Over 20 Innovative Startups and Scaleups Recognized in the 4th Edition of the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 Programme
Deloitte recently held an event focused on the new generation of technology startups in Cyprus and the Middle East, attracting over 20 innovative startups and high-growth scaleups. The event was organized under the theme “Cultivating Success Stories of Innovation”, as part of the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 programme and in collaboration with ARIS | A Really Inspiring Story, a startup accelerator.
According to a Deloitte announcement, the event highlighted the region’s emerging innovation landscape. In his opening remarks, Theodoros Loukaidis, Director General of the Research and Innovation Foundation (RIF), stated that Cyprus has become a strong innovation hub, with local startups and tech firms proving that resilience is key to success.
He added that initiatives such as the Deloitte Fast 50 programme and the event itself reflect the rapid growth of these companies, which are helping shape the future of technology both regionally and globally.
The event featured a panel discussion with Marios Tannousis, CEO of Invest Cyprus, and Violetta Skitidi, Co-founder and COO of Formulaw.ai, moderated by Carolina Arbelaez DeLa Espriella, COO of Deloitte Private Growth, Middle East.
In addition, Anthie Chatzikyriakou, Director at Deloitte Cyprus’ Strategy & Transactions team and ARIS member, alongside Konstantina Stylianou, Head of Events and CSR at XM, the main sponsor of ARIS, outlined how emerging startups and scaleups can be supported to accelerate their growth.
The event also included the presentation of the Deloitte Middle East & Cyprus Technology Fast 50 4th Edition by Kyriakos Charalambides, Partner at Deloitte Cyprus and Head of the Fast 50 programme. Participating companies were formally recognized for their achievements.
“Initiatives like ARIS and Fast 50 inspire the next generation of tech entrepreneurs while strengthening the innovation ecosystem by promoting best practices and expanding valuable networks,” said Charalambides.
The Deloitte Technology Fast 50 is an annual ranking of the fastest-growing technology companies in Cyprus and the Middle East, based on revenue growth over the past four years. The programme aims to spotlight innovative businesses driving technological advancement and market disruption.
