For Doers, the Summit in Athens Is Just the Beginning
The energy in Athens is palpable, and one thing is clear: this gathering is only the starting point for a wave of collaboration and innovation.
Athens is buzzing with anticipation as the Doers Summit kicks off tomorrow, February 12, 2025, at the iconic Technopolis City of Athens. Organized by the Doers Company, this two-day event promises to bring together founders, investors, and operators for unparalleled networking, knowledge-sharing, and collaboration opportunities. We at FastForward had the privilege of attending both the recent press conference and an exclusive dinner, where insiders offered a glimpse into what participants can expect.

During the official press conference, the organizers presented their journey since 2018, detailing the evolution of the Doers Company and highlighting some of the major international events they’ve successfully run so far. What stood out was their excitement regarding the Summit’s global appeal. More than half of this year’s participating booths will be occupied by international companies, a testament to how quickly the Doers Summit has expanded beyond local borders.
Representatives from Endeavor Greece, XM, and Skroutz also took the stage, emphasizing their support for the summit as partners and champions of innovation. The organizers hinted that “next year’s goals are much bigger,” fueling speculation that Doers Company is already setting sights on even broader international participation. One of the most talked-about announcements was the AI-powered app that attendees can use for matchmaking, facilitating targeted networking and meetings. This new tool underscores the Summit’s “by founders, for founders” approach, ensuring that participants can connect with the right people efficiently.
FastForward had also the honor of attending a dinner at the Kerameikos restaurant Malvazia, where guests took advantage of the relaxed setting to exchange ideas, discuss upcoming startup trends, and forge strategic partnerships.
The main event unfolds over two action-packed days at Technopolis City of Athens. Upon arrival, participants can redeem their badges, explore the interactive exhibits, and join keynote sessions, panel discussions, and private roundtables designed to provide actionable insights.
In line with its theme of “Bringing Founders, Investors, and Operators Together,” the Summit offers curated experiences for every attendee:
-
Startup Founders can pitch on stage to top-tier venture capitalists actively scouting for the next big thing.
-
Investors gain early access to emerging trends across Europe and the Middle East, meeting visionary founders who are actively reshaping the entrepreneurial landscape.
-
Operators and Industry Leaders can explore new partnerships, glean best practices, and stay on the cutting edge of scaling strategies.
The final day culminates with the Doers Closing Party, a celebratory gathering marking two days of insights, connections, and momentum-building conversations.

A standout feature of this year’s Summit is the AI-powered Brella app. Attendees simply download the app, create a profile, and enter their unique event code to access full schedules, participant lists, and curated networking recommendations. By matching individuals based on interests, industry focus, and funding goals, the app ensures that no opportunity goes overlooked.
As the Doers Summit begins, the energy in Athens is palpable, and one thing is clear: this gathering is only the starting point for a wave of collaboration and innovation. With more than half of the booths occupied by international players and big ambitions already set for next year, the Summit in Athens truly is just the beginning for the Doers Company.
