Eurobank Launches Europe’s First Agentic AI Voice Platform for Enterprises from Cyprus
Strategic Cyprus–India partnership marks new AI innovation hub in Southern Europe with real-time autonomous business capabilities.
Eurobank, in collaboration with Fairfax Digital Services and Voicing.AI, has unveiled the first enterprise-grade agentic AI voice platform in Europe. According to an official statement from the bank, this groundbreaking development marks a significant milestone in digital transformation and positions Cyprus as an emerging hub for next-generation AI technologies.
The launch coincided with the first official visit of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Cyprus, where he met with the President of the Republic of Cyprus, Nikos Christodoulides. Eurobank highlighted this as a symbol of a new era of collaboration between India and Cyprus, focused on innovation, digital trust, and joint technological leadership.
Deputy Minister for Research, Innovation and Digital Policy, Dr. Nikodemos Damianou, stated that the launch of the first agentic AI voice platform in Europe from Cyprus is a strong vote of confidence in the country’s potential as a strategic AI technology hub.
Jointly developed in Cyprus and India, the platform enables Eurobank employees to interact with intelligent voice agents for IT support and operational tasks. These agents offer human-like conversation, contextual understanding, and autonomous task execution—establishing a new standard for intelligent workplace automation. This marks the first application of agentic AI voice technology in a business environment in Southern Europe.
Michael Louis, CEO of Hellenic Bank (a Eurobank Group member), noted that this initiative underscores the group’s commitment to investing in cutting-edge technologies like artificial intelligence to enhance customer value and improve operational efficiency.
He added that the platform would soon be extended to support additional functions such as human resources, regulatory compliance, and customer service, aiming to deliver a smart, seamless experience for both employees and clients.
Sanjay Tugnait, President & CEO of Fairfax Digital Services (part of the Fairfax Group) and a board member of the Cyprus–India Business Association, emphasized that the platform was co-created with security, scalability, and human-centric design at its core.
Shubham Mishra, CEO of Pixis, stated that their vision is to build the world’s most advanced agentic AI systems—solutions that think, act, and optimize autonomously across business functions. With the launch of the Model Context Protocol (MCP) in Europe, Cyprus will serve as a strategic base for introducing this innovation to the regional market.
The MCP enables real-time, automated decision-making across marketing, commerce, and analytics, setting a new benchmark for enterprise intelligence.
