The program will also include a public speaking workshop and an educational workshop on healthy relationships and self-confidence, linked to Goal #5 of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs).

Despite the fact that girls outperform boys in digital literacy, only one in five ICT (Information and Communication Technology) specialists and one in three STEM graduates are women. The dropout rate from digital careers among women working in the digital sector is higher than that of men. This imbalance is mainly due to stereotypical perceptions of gender roles, which discourage girls from fully realizing their potential. The "Girls in STEAM Academy" program is designed to break these barriers and inspire young women to pursue careers in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics.
Through our programs, participants have the opportunity to join the Alumnae Network, opening doors to many innovative and exciting opportunities both in Cyprus and abroad. Graduates of our programs from previous years have participated in the "TechGirls" program in the United States, become hosts on the Girls in STEAM Academy podcast "SheSpeaks," participated in various educational programs, and engaged in job shadowing activities at various companies in Cyprus.
