RIF Launches €6.2M in Funding for Startups and Businesses
INNOVATE and SEED Calls Aim to Boost Global Competitiveness of Cypriot Enterprises Through Product Development and Market Expansion
The Research and Innovation Foundation (RIF) of Cyprus has announced two new funding calls, INNOVATE and SEED, aimed at supporting existing and startup businesses in the rapid development of competitive products and services and enhancing their international presence. The total budget for both programmes amounts to €6.2 million.
The INNOVATE call targets companies already active in the market. Funding is directed toward the development and optimisation of products or services, scaling up for commercial production, and expanding into international markets.

The SEED programme supports early-stage, high-potential startups looking to develop globally competitive products or services.

Both funding calls are co-financed by the Republic of Cyprus and the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) under the “THALIA 2021–2027” Cohesion Policy Programme.
