Commerce & Industry Ministry Announces €20 Million Grant for New Business Initiatives
The Ministry of Energy, Commerce, and Industry announced that applications for the second call of the new business support plan, totaling €20 million, will open next Tuesday.
The program is part of the "TH.A.L.E.I.A" 2021-2027 Program and is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund of the European Union and the Republic of Cyprus. The total budget allocated for this call amounts to €20 million.
The submission period for proposals will begin on Tuesday, June 18, at 9:00 a.m., and applications will be accepted through the electronic Grant Scheme System of the Ministry of Energy, Commerce, and Industry until July 31, 2024, at 11:59 p.m.
Applications and the required supporting documents must be submitted electronically only at https://fundingapps.meci.gov.cy, using the browsers Chrome, Firefox, and Edge.
According to the Ministry's announcement, priority will be determined based on the order of submission (immediate evaluation), and the maximum amount of approvals will not exceed the available budget of the call. Remaining applications will be considered as alternates and will be reviewed in the order of submission, taking into account any savings that may arise.
